Jerk Lamb Steak with Stir Fry Noodles

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Lamb:
    • Rub the lamb steaks with Philmore Jerk Marinade, ensuring they’re evenly coated. Allow to marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for more flavor.
  2. Cook the Lamb:
    • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the lamb steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your desired doneness.
  3. Prepare the Noodles:
    • Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Stir Fry:
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced bell peppers, julienned carrot, and spring onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
  1. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Serve:
    • Plate the stir-fried noodles and top with the grilled jerk lamb steaks. Garnish with additional Chilli pepper if more heat desired.

  • 200g of egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 small bunch of spring onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
