Grill Salmon with Capers and Red Onion

This grilled salmon is a masterpiece of flavor, adorned with red onion and capers, creating a symphony for the taste buds

INSTRUCTIONS

Sauté the onion and garlic in saucepan on medium heat. And cook, stirring regularly, until just beginning to brown, then add remaining ingredients and cook for another 5 minutes, then put a side.
Heat saucepan with oil and low heat, then add salon fillet skin side down and cook for 4-7 minutes depend on size of the filets. Poke the fish with a fork and look for the doneness. The fish should still be a little rare in the middle, but not raw.

Serve immediately with capers and red onion sauce on top with your choice of vegetables.

INGREDIENTS

  • 7 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic gloves, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of capers drained and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped jalapeno
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • 2 fresh salmon fillets, ½ pound each
